Happy St. Patrick's Day Pictures and Layout

This layout is from March 2009. Pictured are my mom, 3 of her sisters and 1 of her brothers at Hoboken's St. Patty's Day parade.

Travis' 17th birthday is Friday, March 19. Since we won't see him, I made his favorite dinner tonight, Peppersteak. Yummo! We then sang Happy Birthday to him and off to work Travis and Sara went.

This is how my girls dressed for school today. All dolled up as usual. I put so much green in Emma's hair this morning and you can't even see it. bummer.

If you go out partying tonight, be safe!

Big Sis Layout/Scrap Our Stash March Challenge

I made this 8 x 8 layout for Emma's 7th birthday album I am working on. I followed the March Challenge at Scrap Our Stash challenge blog. The challenge for March is to use something old and something new from your stash. You can find the direct link in the right column.

"Emma had a party where the girls got their nails, hair and makeup done. After all the pretties were done, they got dressed up in popstar outfits and did a fashion show and karaoke. What a great birthday party it was.

Title: Big Sis
The Old embellishments that I used for this layout are the Queen & Co. flowers, an inchie square (top right) that I received from a friend (Patrizzia) during an inchie swap a couple years ago and pink ink.

The New goodies are the papers from Glitz Design Divalicious paper pack, ribbon and rhinestones from Michaels, Thicker Stickers and my Martha Stewart border punch.

Celebrating Dr. Seuss's 105th Birthday

Aren't my girls cute?! Mark painted these shirts for the girls to wear to school today. All week is Read Week at school to celebrate Dr. Seuss's 105ht birthday. Today they had to wear black, red, blue and white and bring in their favorite Dr. Seuss book. Emma brought in our family favorite Are You My Mother? and Victoria brought in Lorax. It's a week long of fun at school. On Thursday, they get to wear their pjs, slippers, robes and bring in a pillow and blanket. They were so excited to show off their new shirts this morning. Thanks to their talented daddy! Reading is a great way to get kids interested in all types of things. Victoria loves to read about interesting things that she can learn from and Emma loves funny stories. Take time to read to your kids this week and find the time to let them read to you. Enjoy

March Challenge at Scrap Our Stash Blog

The Scrap Our Stash March Challenge is to do a project using something OLD (from your stash) and something NEW. This can be anything you want to do - just stick with the OLD / NEW prompt. Your project does not have to be a card or layout - it can be anything you want to create. Once you have completed your project email a picture and a brief discription of how your project related to the Old/New prompt to scrappinpsycho@live.com .

Each entry will be posted on the blog for everyone to see. Your entry must be received by Noon on March 31st. A winner will be chosen and announced on April 1st (No foolin'). The winner will be offered the opportunity to be a Guest Design Team Member for the month of May.

We will be posting projects daily from the Design team, Guest Design Team and readers entries. Please use these as a source of inspiration to join in the challenge and also to scrap your stash. Check back daily for a new project.

We are also having a contest for Spring Cleaning! Let's see your messy scraproom/scrapspace and then take pictures after you have cleaned up your act! Deltails at www.scrapourstash.blogspot.com
