Balloon Festival 2009

We have never gone to a balloon festival before so I just had to go when I saw an advertisement for one. It was located in Readington, NJ which was about an hour south west of here. The weather was perfect... not too hot just alittle hazy. I wish there was a bit more sun so my pictures would look more colorful but they came out good enough, I guess. It was so cool watching all the balloons take form then at first one at a time took off then next thing you know, there were 4 -5 going at once. There had to be close to 50 or more balloons taking off all afternoon. It was so cool to see the girls faces and how they reacted to the colors and different shapes of the balloons. We also did some shopping, it was a mini fair as well. Sara surprised me with a beautiful hot air balloon wind chime. I was so happy, I never get surprises. All in all it was a good day!

Sandy Hook, Sun and Fun!

Yeah! We finally had perfect weather for the beach! (especially for the weekend when Mark is home). We packed up the girls and went down the shore to Sandy Hook. We had an awesome day and the girls had a blast with their body boards. Hope everyone's summer is going great!

My New Etsy Shop is Open

I finally did it! I started an Etsy shop. I am so excited. I have only added one item so far. I have about 5 more to add later today and will be adding new items weekly. Happy 4th of July! What are your plans today? We are going to my dad's for a bbq this afternoon, then out to dinner with Mark and back home to watch Mark light up some fireworks. Enjoy your day!

September and June What a Difference?

I am finally getting around to my update about Victoria and Emma. This year has flown by so quickly. Emma absolutely loved her first year in school. I was fortunate enough to go into her kindergarten class several times over the year to do craft projects with her classmates. She got a perfect report card! We are so proud of her. I also got to go into Victoria's 3rd grade class twice for craft projects and twice for holiday and end of year parties. All the kids loved doing crafts with me. Every time they saw me, they would ask when I was coming back. Victoria ended the year with straight A's all four marking periods! What a wonderful accomplishment. Mark and I are so PROUD of all 3 girls!!! Here are two pictures of Emma and Victoria one is from September and one is from the last week of school. They both grew so much.

Sara's Prom

Wow! It has been 3 months since my last post. I have been so busy with the end of the school year that time has flown by. Today is the first day the girls have now school so I will be even busier trying to keep them busy. lol I just wanted to post a quick update about Sara. She took her boyfriend, Travis to her Junior Prom. She was so excited as the time got closer. She picked out a beautiful dress back in April with my mom. Sara went with Travis and his dad to get his tux and flowers. Unfortunately, it rained the night of the prom, so Travis' family came to our house to take pictures inside. They looked great together! Here are a few pictures. Thanks for looking and I will be updating about Victoria and Emma tomorrow.
